Meet the Team
 

Kevin Whitbread

Kevin serves as the Lead Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) at Prestigious Training Solutions Ltd.
 

In his early career, Kevin spent approximately 10 years in the British Army, serving in the Transport and Logistics Corps. Following his military service, he held a variety of roles within the transport sector, including HGV driver and Transport Manager.
 

In 2014, Kevin transitioned into education and training, specialising in NVQ delivery. Alongside this, he developed a strong passion for the security industry and went on to gain the necessary qualifications to become a security trainer and assessor.


Over the years, Kevin has worked with multiple training providers in roles including Trainer, Assessor, and Lead Trainer. He is highly regarded for his work in delivering and assessing Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in Spectator Safety, working with prestigious venues such as Wembley National Stadium, Chelsea Football Club, Charlton Athletic Football Club, Leyton Orient Football Club, and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.


Kevin is a fully qualified Assessor, Trainer, Internal Quality Assurer (IQA), and External Quality Assurer (EQA). He currently works as a freelance EQA for three of the leading awarding bodies that deliver SIA licence-linked security qualifications.

 

Mark Davies

Mark is the Head of Centre at Prestigious Training Solutions Ltd. In addition to this role, he delivers a range of security and medical training courses and is actively involved in course development. and IQA.
 

Mark began his career serving in the Royal Navy, completing just under nine years of service. Following this, he joined Cambridgeshire Constabulary as a police officer, where he served for over 24 years. During his time in the force, Mark undertook a variety of roles, from frontline public order policing to working within the constabulary’s training division.


In 2015, Mark transitioned into the private security industry. After completing the required qualifications, he obtained his SIA licences in Door Supervision and Close Protection. Building on his existing training qualifications, Mark went on to qualify to deliver all SIA licence-linked courses, including Door Supervisor, Security Officer, CCTV, Close Protection, and First Aid.


Over the past five years, Mark has developed four courses focused on personal safety, including Conflict Management and Physical Intervention. These courses have been delivered at De Montfort University. He also co-wrote a Theft Management course for retail security officers, which was delivered for Tesco.

 

Adrian Eglington

Adrian is the Lead Trainer and Assessor at Prestigious Training Solutions Ltd, bringing nearly three decades of hands-on experience within the private security industry and training sector.


Adrian began his career in security in 1996 while studying at university, working in nightclubs in and around Nottingham. After graduating, he moved to London, where he continued working as a Door Supervisor alongside his full-time employment. In 2001, Adrian relocated to Colchester, Essex, further developing his experience within the security industry before returning to Suffolk in 2003.


Upon returning, Adrian took on the role of Security Manager for a food processing company. During this time, he completed a range of security qualifications, including Security Officer, CCTV, Door Supervision, and Close Protection.


Later in 2003, Adrian was invited to assist on a Door Supervisor training course—an experience that sparked his passion for training. As his involvement grew, he progressed quickly, and by 2005 he was fully qualified to deliver SIA Door Supervisor and Security Officer courses.


In 2010, Adrian expanded his expertise to include First Aid and Health & Safety training, as well as delivering courses within the rail industry.
 

Today, Adrian delivers a wide range of training programmes, including Conflict Management, Physical Intervention, security qualifications, First Aid, and Health & Safety, across multiple industries and sectors.
